With a 40mm diameter, there is enough space within the dial to play about with individual creations such as the date window sitting at the 3 o clock location trimmed in a silver border, or the seconds hand which stands out against the velvety blackness of the dial thanks to its striking emergency red tip. The centre of the dial on this Hamilton Khaki Field Quartz watch has been worked in, using a deeper layer of black which adds yet another dimension to the display.
