The late summer blooms are creamy-white and deeply fragrant, and even when they fall, they leave behind colourful, pink-coloured calyxes. The foliage is also attractive, hanging in elegant pairs of glossy green leaves. Heptacodium Miconioides can be grown either as a shrub or compact, manageable tree in the garden, so is ideal for smaller gardens. Plants are quick-growing and easy to maintain.
