Description
A well branched variety which is less prone to flopping, despite the enormity of the flowers. Hydrangea arborescens ‘Strong Annabelle’ happily thrives in a container on a patio or balcony, at the edge of a woodland border or growing as a semi-shaded, ornamental hedge. Foliage has serrated edges and is deeply veined – adding verdant interest from March to November each year. Plants prefer moist, well-drained acidic to neutral soil of any kind except heavy clay. Position in full sun or partial shade.
