Description
The Blend is a reference all mountain twin, as happy sliding rails as it is buttering and pressing or searching for powder stashes. early rise tip and tail improves handling on any terrain; the 100mm waist and 20.5m radius provide stability in every condition. It's built tough too, with a Maple Macro core and both fat edges and bases. The result is a smooth, durable performance in an oversized footprint for embracing creativity.Terrain Type & Ability LevelTerrain Type The Blend was one one of the first, and still one of the best, all condition freestyle skis. As happy spending the day in the park as it is lapping powder or messing about on natural terrain. The tips and tails make it comfortable for butters and presses, whilst the centre section is plenty firm enough when it's time to put the hammer down.Skier TypeSkiers who want to use the whole mountain from park to pow, with plenty of time everywhere else whether it's trees, groomers or side hits. It'll press and butter, has the width for soft snow and still has the firmness so you can push it. It's a true all rounder so will suit anyone looking for a freestyle quiver of one.OverviewShape100mm underfoot and with a 20m (178cm) radius is ideal for a mix of park and all mountain, offering stability and float. A 5Cut Multi Radius Sidecut blends 5 different radii so that the ski is comfortable in a variety of turns and keeps an intuitive feel. early Taper moves the widest point of the sidecut so it begins tapering earlier in the tip and tail to reduce hook ups in soft snow.Rockerearly Rise at the tip and tail lift them away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the centre of the ski. This increases the ski's lift in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hardpack when rolled over on edge.CoreMaple Macroblock uses two full-length maple stringers surrounded by aspen for increased strength and durability. A Carbon Ollieband uses pre-stretched carbon down the centre of the ski for added pop and play.ConstructionCombining the precision of sidewall underfoot, and the lightweight, durable performance of cap construction in the tip and tail, Capwall Construction provides the best of both worlds.Key FeaturesFatty Base and edge30% thicker base and edge, 2.2mm wide x 2.5mm high steel edges and 1.7mm thick base dramatically increase durability and tuning life of the skis.Symmetric FlexThe same flex pattern in front and behind your boot conforms to terrain equally riding forward and backwards.Thin TipSuper thin core and sidewalls in the tip and tail are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight and tip bounce.eB tester’s comments: Luke (Buying Team) A few spring slushy laps on these had me smiling. A typical Line ski, these felt playful, poppy and would suit someone who likes to treat the whole mountain as a fun park.Size (cm)Tip Width (mm)Waist Width (mm)Tail Width (mm)Radius (m)Weight (g)17113310012218.17813310012220.18513310012222.General InformationSkier Ability: Intermediate|Advanced|expertRocker: Tip/Tail RockerRadius: LongBindings: Ski sold flatDIN: n/aConstruction: Semi SidewallCore: WoodDemo: No
