Monarda Croftway Pink 1 Litre Potted Plant x 1
Description
An established favourite, Monarda Croftway Pink bears whorls of rose-pink flowers surrounded by a ruff of pink bracts and blooms almost continuously from July to September with regular deadheading. Bergamot are unusual-looking but hardworking perennials that deserve a place in any herbaceous border or wildlife garden. The blooms are borne on stiff, upright stems and are a magnet for bees. Bergamot flowers make an excellent addition to bouquets and the citrus-scented leaves can be eaten in salads or dried and used to make pot pourri. Unfussy about soil type, Bergamot plants thrive in any position from full sun to dappled shade. This reliable and free-flowering perennial will quickly form a dense clump, which associates beautifully with ornamental grasses, purple-leafed plants and hardy geraniums. Height: 90cm (35in). Spread: 45cm (18in). Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
