The 3m x 2m Rectangular Aluminium Garden Parasol - Crank & Tilt can be used in conjunction with a dining table or as a standalone parasol providing you use a weighted base (not included) to keep the parasol in place. The parasol has a 38mm pole which will fit most standard tables and bases. This parasol is easily erected via a crank handle and a quick release pin which allows you to angle your parasol to project a shadow over your chosen area and hold it in place quickly and easily. This parasol is specially treated with a PA coating which ensures it is resistant to sun bleaching and fading. Plus the removable canopy means that should it get dirty due to rain or other elements you can machine wash the canopy and it will be good as new. To dry the canopy simply put back on the frame on a sunny day and leave to dry. The 200g polyester canopy offers plenty of sun protection as it has a UV rating of 50+. Additionally it has a fade resistance level of 5/6 which means the colour is extremely protected against fading or discolouration. The square ribs that measure 12 x 18mm are much stronger than standard parasol ribs which makes the parasol much more durable against tough weather conditions. The parasol can be fully closed and easily stored away if necessary. Nova always recommend that the parasol remains closed when not in use and is always kept closed in extreme windy conditions.
