Our Bobina Mirrors are inspired by bobbin furniture - otherwise known as spool furniture - of the late 17th century. This style had legs that were generally lathe-turned into ornamental shapes in order to make a feature of them. Drawing on this characteristic, the frame of our circular Bobina Twist Mirror is hand carved from mango wood into a pleasing spiralling shape, which is then painted vibrant red and finished with a high gloss which accentuates its form.
