OKA OKA, Quinglong Lidded Vase
Description
Finished in an authentic celadon glaze, this handmade piece is a nod to the traditional meiping "plum vases" traditionally crafted in Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital of China. These curvaceous vases, identified by their small openings and broad shoulders, took their name from their function: holding plum wine (or, on occasion, blossom branches).
