Included in this collection, youll get: 1 x Blackberry 'Black Cascade' - the Hanging Basket Blackberry! A spreading plant which gently cascades from a basket meaning you can pick the fruits easily at eye level instead of reaching and bending. No more scratched hands either as plants are thorn free! When established one plant will fill a large hanging basket and yield over a kilo of large sweet juicy berries. Once plant has fruited cut out old growth leaving all growth that is 1 year old or less as this will bear fruit in following year. Ht 30cm, Fruits August - October 1 x Patio Blackberry 'Opal' - produces fruit on new growth from August to October and will produce crops to pick in the first year - much sooner than regular kinds. The extra-large sweet juicy berries are delicious to eat and easy to pick as the canes are thorn free. Ht 90cm, Fruits August - September. 1 x Raspberry 'Ruby Beauty' - unique in that it produces masses of short branched canes that reach no more than 1m (3ft 3in), with the added bonus of being thornless. This thick clump of canes produces heavy crops of up to 1.5Kg per plant on established plants in 2 years or so, and starts fruiting in June, so is an early starter. For best results, grow in a large pot about 30cm or so in diameter, allowing room for growth over many years. Picking is at 80-100cm tall, so easy to net and easy to pick.
