Thompson & Morgan Pieris Japonica Dwarf Little Heath are much admired for their whorled evergreen foliage, often edged with cream, with the tips of the foliage turning pink throughout the year A useful, small shrub for providing all year round colour.. Bell-shaped, creamy flowers appearing during spring. Thompson & Morgan Pieris Japonica Dwarf Little Heath dwarf variety grows to just 60cm in height and is easy to maintain, requiring minimal pruning. A lovely addition to acid borders and eye-catching patio containers. Grow Pieris plants in a moderately fertile, rich, well-drained and acidic soil, in a sunny or partially shaded position Alternatively, grow Pieris in large containers, using ericaceous (acidic) compost. Whilst your Pieris plants are young, they may require some winter protection. As they become established, you will find that Pieris plants will need very little pruning.
