This poppy papaver King Kong is perfect for creating a stunning display in the garden borders. These varieties will light up the borders from late spring and early summer. These poppies thrive in full sun and are happy to be grown in poor, dry soil. These varieties are lump forming perennials that create neat rosettes of deeply cut leaves covered in coarse hairs. Perfect for adding texture to the garden their large flower heads will provide a splash of colour in the summer that will then be followed by attractive seed heads. Height: 90cm (35”). Spread: 60cm (24”). When growing Oriental Poppies, choose a sunny position in rich fertile, well-drained soil.
