Thompson & Morgan Potentilla fruticosa 'Red Ace' is compact enough to be grown in pots and containers on your patio but hardy enough to be included in beds or borders in the garden. However you choose to display it, Potentilla fruticosa 'Red Ace' is impressive and makes an excellent addition to your garden. The foliage is densely packed and dark green, contrasting with the bright red flowers that appear in summer and continue to emerge through into the autumn months. The blooms gradually fade in the sun to a burnt orange colour giving the appearance of a two-toned shrub. Grow Thompson & Morgan Potentilla fruticosa 'Red Ace' n full sun in any well drained soil.
