Radish Bright Lights seeds produce crisp and tasty roots in an eye-catching mixture of colour and shades. Possibly the quickest and easiest of all salad crops, radishes are fun and rewarding to grow for experienced gardeners and novices alike. April to August, sow thinly in a prepared seed bed in rows 20cm (8in) apart. Cover lightly with 1.5cm (half an inch) of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 7-21 days. For continuous crops, sow every 2-3 weeks. When large enough, thin to 15cm (6in) apart. Keep moist and weed-free. Harvest from June to October.
