The Saucony Jazz 18 has everything you need to give you a fluid ride. Your heel strike is secured by a firm heel cup and cushioned by ProGrid, which is more responsive than standard EVA. There is medial support to keep your mid-stance strong and good energy return for your toe push off. Traction shouldn't be an issue when the XT-600 Carbon rubber tread strikes down on the surface. The upper is lightweight and supportive due to a mid-foot meld that combines materials frugally to give maximum support for minimum weight.
