Description

The Shimano RP5 road shoes have been developed to optimise comfort and maximise power transfer for smooth and efficient pedalling. The seamless one-piece upper is constructed from supple synthetic leather and the fit can be easily customised thanks to the hook and loop toe strap and micro-adjustable Boa® L6 dial with hidden wire routing. The nylon sole has been reinforced with carbon for effective power transfer and Shimano rate the stiffness level as an 8 out of 12 so you won't sacrifice comfort for high-performance pedalling. The RP5s also benefit from Shimano Dynalast technology. This sees the sole of the shoe tuned to give more spring in the toe, optimising energy transfer and promoting smooth and efficient power application throughout the pedal stroke. More efficiency, less power loss, easier cycling. With extended cleat adjustment, you'll always get your set-up right and wide heel pads prevent you slipping when you're off the bike.
