Redesigning the MTB Rim The new Flow EX is, simply, better than ever. Featuring lower profile sidewalls for ultimate durability and incorporating Bead Socket Technology for superb tubeless performance, this Flow EX MTB Rim can take the punishment of the most violent and technical trails. Stan's No Tubes kept the weight down despite increasing the sidewalls by 14% for maximum dent resistance alongside a 33% thicker spoke bed for increased pull-through strength. Beefing up the eternal rim width to 29.1mm and the internal rim width to 25.5mm gave room to reshape the bead socket to produce a tight seal. Overall, the rim is now more comfortable, durable, and stiff.
