Description
Choose Allium ‘Serendipity’ for its fabulous flowers and unusual, blue-tinged foliage. These pretty plants bear rosy-purple globe flowers of 4-5cm diameter above glaucous foliage. A fabulous choice of structural flower for the border and ideal as a cut flower for your home too. Height: 50cm (20”). Spread: 10cm (4”).Alliums thrive in light sandy, well-drained soil in full sun. Avoid planting in cold wet soils as they are prone to rot in these conditions. Plant alliums at a depth of 10cm (4") and a distance of 10cm (4") apart. A slow-release fertilizer can be added to poor soils at the time of planting to improve fertility. When growing alliums, plant them where the leaves of other plants will cover the base of their stems. This will hide the old foliage which dies back before flowering begins.Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only. Please note: This product cannot be delivered outside the United Kingdom.Product specifications:Position: Full SunHeight: Up to 50cm when fully establishedSpread: Up to 10cm when fully establishedFlowering period: May to JulyImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
