Description
Apple 'Braeburn' is Britain's No.1 eating apple! 'Braeburn' produces huge crops of bi-coloured, smooth-skinned, crisp and juicy fruits. Fruits are easy to grow and early to crop from a young age. The apples have excellent storage potential once harvested – the heavy crops can be picked in October and will store for up to 4 months. Grown on rootstock M9 – dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 2.5m (8ft). This variety isn’t self-fertile, so for the heaviest crops it is best grown with another variety. If you only have room for one tree then make sure that a neighbour has a tree close by that can act as a suitable pollinator. Estimated time to cropping once planted: 2 years. Estimated time to best yields: 5 years.
