Candytuft 'Dwarf Fairy' is a showy mix of candytufts, perfect for beds and borders in your cottage or wildlife garden, or can even provide a colourful splash on the patio when planted in containers. Produces masses of scented flowers in a range of vibrant colours, sure to provide a focal point in your garden. Great as a last minute border filling mix that will flower throughout the summer months.Where to sow: Outdoors where they are to flower.Preparation: Prepare the ground by raking until it is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones.Sowing: Sow 3mm (1/8in) deep, in rows 30cm (12in) apart, or scatter seed in beds or borders as a gap filler and lightly cover over. Germination usually takes 14-30 days.Growing:When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 23cm (9in) apart. Water regularly until plants are fully established. Cut back the plants to remove faded candytuft flowers and maintain a neat, compact habit.
