Thompson & Morgan Cordyline Australis Charli-E Boy 9Cm Potted Plant X 1
Description
Grow Cordyline for the perfect low-maintenance, evergreen shrub to provide year-round colour and interest in your garden. Cordyline ‘Charli.e Boy’ is a striking architectural shrub, bearing long, strap-shape leaves with variegated pink and burgundy colouring. As the plants mature, a tall, bare stem emerges creating a tree-like appearance crowned with spikey leaves. An excellent focal point as container grown or border specimen, Cordylines combine well with vibrantly coloured perennials. This resilient evergreen is perfectly hardy in milder parts of the UK and is a particularly popular choice in coastal gardens for its tolerance to sea air, dry soils and exposed sites. Height: 300cm (118”). Spread: 100cm (39”).Grow on in frost free conditions and acclimatise to the outdoors over 7-10 days before planting out. Grow Cordylines on fertile, well-drained soil. Choose a sheltered position in full sun. Cordylines are particularly well suited to mild coastal locations but do enjoy a fertile soil, so it is well worth incorporating some well-rotted manure into the soil when planting. Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
