Digitalis ‘Dalmatian Cream’ is a swiftly maturing foxglove, bursting into bloom within its first year. It showcases a striking spire adorned with bell-shaped cream flowers delicately speckled with deep purple, emerging from a low rosette of velvety leaves. A must-have for cottage gardens, woodland settings, and mixed borders, this shade-adaptable biennial or short-lived perennial creates a captivating display when planted en masse, readily self-seeding to form charming colonies if left to its own devices. To prevent self-seeding, simply remove spent blooms before seed formation, which also encourages the development of more flower spikes.
