Thompson & Morgan Hedge Ramanas Rose White (Rosa Rugosa Alba) 10 Bare Root Plants
Description
For something a similar yet a little different to the usual Rosa rugose, why not consider the White Ramanas Rose. This variety boasts beautiful, pure white flowers, which contrast wonderfully with its dark foliage. Later in the season, the flowers make way for bright red fruits, which are perfect for attracting wildlife. The prickly stems will also act as a useful deterrent for any possible intruders, making it an attractive and practical plant.Plant bare root roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well-drained soil. Dig in plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.Feed and water rose plants regularly .In late summer, begin pruning rugosa roses by removing dead and diseased wood, and any rubbing or damaged branches. Apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or compost to the base of the plant after pruning.Product Specifications: 50-80cm bare root plants, Hardy, easy for all to grow. Planting Distance 50cm.
