Hardy perennial Thyme will grow almost anywhere – in containers, rock gardens, borders and even cracks between paving. It is also ideal for creating low, bushy groundcover, which will attract bees to its tiny pink blooms. Thyme plants are particularly useful in coastal areas, where it copes well with winds and dry conditions. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 35cm (14"). Plant thyme outdoors within easy reach of the kitchen. Choose a position in neutral to alkaline, well-drained soil, in full sun.
