Growing up and up into densely branching towers packed with blooms from late summer to autumn, they provide a spectacular focal point which can be used to frame architectural features.The blooms attract a wealth of beneficial pollinators. Drought tolerant once established.Grow Hibiscus on rich fertile, reliably moist, well drained soil, in full sun. When growing hibiscus plants in patio containers use a soil based compost, such as John Innes No.3.Feed and water hibiscus regularly until fully established . Apply a dry mulch such as bark chips to the base if the plant in autumn to protect from winter cold. Prune hibiscus in late spring, removing any stems that have died back or been damaged over winter.
