This conical tree is cloaked in a dense covering of foliage which emerges a vibrant blue-green before maturing to a deeper, lush green towards summer and into winter. If you’re looking for something to bring year-round colour and structural interest to a confined space or as part of a mixed border, this zero-maintenance compact conifer will do so with the minimum of fuss.Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply. Water Juniper plants regularly throughout the growing season until fully established. Juniper does not require any pruning.
