Kniphofia Uvaria produces fiery red buds that open to reveal tubular orange flowers that gradually fade to a bright shade of yellow. This variety is distinctive for its spectacular display of red-hot poker flowers that are carried on tall stems above evergreen foliage. Easy to grow and requires low maintenance but will make a dramatic addition to summer borders. Its blooms will attract bees and make an impressive cut flower. Height:120cm (48”). Spread: 60cm (24”).Plant knifophia bareroots at the earliest opportunity following delivery. Grow red hot poker plants in a sunny or semi-shaded position, in any rich, fertile, well-drained soil. Position the bareroot so that the crown of the plant is just a few cm below soil level. Water well to settle the soil around the roots.Water regularly until fully established.
