Thompson & Morgan Leucojum Aestivum
Description
You might easily mistake this robust bulb for a Snowdrop, given its strap-like foliage and white, nodding flowers that bear a striking resemblance! However, don't be deceived – Leucojum aestivum stands taller and blooms later in the season, specifically in April and May. Each stem boasts up to eight bell-shaped flowers, each delicately tipped with chartreuse-green, gracefully emerging from tidy clusters of foliage. Popularly known as the Summer Snowflake, this charming bulb is perfect for naturalizing in grassy areas or planting in generous clusters across the front of borders and rock gardens. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 10cm (4").
