This osteospermum is a real treat for the eyes, guaranteed to brighten up your day and patio with the glowing butter yellow and orange bi-colour bundles of blooms! You can expect masses of these beautiful blooms to appear in your garden, from June through to the end of September – as they love to soak up the sun and show off to anyone who see’s! A fantastic half-hardy annual African daisy that requires little to no maintenance, due to its compact mounding habit. Position in: Sun or semi shade. Height: Up To 25cm (10in). Spread: Up To 25cm (10in). Supplied as 5 or 10 postiplugs Pot up hardy osteospermum daisies and grow them on in frost free conditions until plants are well grown. When plants are well developed and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting them outdoors into borders and patio containers. Grow osteospermum plants in any well drained soil in a warm, sheltered position in full sun. African Daisies dislike cold wet soils. Improve heavy soil prior to planting by adding plenty of coarse grit. Feed and water osteospermum plants regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded osteospermum flowers throughout the flowering period to encourage more blooms to be produced. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
