Picea glauca Albertina Conica is also known as White Spruce, and is a dense, cone-shaped dwarf evergreen conifer. Ideal to decorate for Christmas to give a warm welcome to visitors beside your front door. Neat and compact, it’s the perfect proportion of alpine gardens and rockeries, as a specimen plant in a container or at the front of the border. 'Conica' bears light green needles, which late turn light bluish-green. This eye-catching, pyramidal plant boasts perfectly uniform branching with no pruning required to maintain its good looks. This slow growing conifer brings structure, texture and year-round colour to the garden and is low-maintenance. Height: 250cm. Spread: 150cm.Grow Picea glauca plants in moist, but well-drained, acidic soil in full sun. Choose a position that is sheltered from cold, drying winds.
