Scabious ‘Kudos Purple’ flowers so profusely throughout the summer months we lost count! If you like your plants to be low-maintenance but to provide a full season of colour, this hardy perennial is a fantastic choice. Not only does it flower all summer long, attracting bees and butterflies to its nectar-rich blooms, but it’s slightly more compact and bushy than the original Scabious, making it a suitable option for a patio container display too. Perfect for creating the cottage garden look or as an addition to a wildlife garden. Give it a prominent spot and it will reward you with months of interest and will continue to do so every year. Grow Scabious plants in a sunny position on fertile, well drained, neutral to alkaline soil that is not excessively wet in winter. Water scabious plants until they are fully established. Deadhead faded scabious flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps in spring. Position: Full Sun/Partial Shade. Height: Up to 45cm when fully established.
