A medium sized deciduous shrub that is prized for its autumn colour, Thompson & Morgan Aronia Prunifolia ‘Brilliant’ bears clusters of pretty white flowers in May and June. As autumn approaches, the foliage turns fiery shades of orange and red, contrasting beautifully with the purple-red berries. Also known as the Purple Chokeberry, the tart fruits of Thompson & Morgan Aronia Prunifolia ‘Brilliant’ are edible, and can be made into jams, compotes and fruit pies. Choose a position in sun or light shade when growing Thompson & Morgan Chokeberry ‘Brilliant’. Happy to grow in a wide range of soils, they can cope with drought conditions as well as waterlogged ground once established.
