Brussels Sprout ‘Red Darling’ is a bi-coloured variety with a sweeter and nuttier taste than plain green sprouts. It’s distinctive purple colouring is created by anthocyanin pigments – an antioxidant which is reported to have health-giving benefits – and the sprouts are also packed with Vitamin C and dietary fibre. Shred these colourful sprouts raw for pink coleslaw or halve to stir fry or oven roast. This is a high-yielding variety that will crop from October to Christmas. Height: 90cm (35in).
