Packed with flavour, our Tomato Supersteak F1 seeds are a favourite of many. Enormous fleshy fruit, the tomatoes achieve the best size in a greenhouse or polytunnel. Plant as instructed on the package for best crops. Indoor Sowing: Sow January to March for greenhouse crops and March to April for outdoor crops. Sow thinly in pots of seed compost, cover lightly with compost and keep moist. Keep at approx. 15-20?C (60-68?F). Seedlings usually appear in 7-14 days. Growing on: When plants reach a height of 15cm (6in), transplant them to individual pots and grow on at approx. 15?C (60?F). For greenhouse crops: Transplant to grow bags or large pots from April to May. For outdoor crops: Gradually acclimatise to outside conditions and transplant to a sunny spot outside. Pinch outside shoots regularly and grow tips once 4-6 trusses have been set. Support with canes. Keep moist and weed-free. Harvest outdoor crops from August.
