Description
Dated Birmingham 1905, this brooch is designed with a number of ornate features true to the period. Made from 15ct yellow gold, the fancy style has a boat shape with a number of elaborate and intricately made surrounds highlighting the rubies and diamond at its centre. The cleverly designed piece has a space for a photo that can be viewed from the back. Approximate total diamond weight: 0.03cts. Diamond colour G-H and clarity VS2, which fall into the following groups: Colour G-H - Near Colourless G-J. More common than D-F colour diamonds, the G-J diamonds provide a great value. Similar to D-F diamonds, these diamonds are best highlighted in white gold or platinum as the white colour of the metal enhances the colourlessness of the stone. Clarity rated VS2- Very Slightly Included (VS1 and VS2) - Inclusions are observed with effort under 10x magnification and are defined as minor. The inclusions are not visible to the naked eye.
