Description
The Chaenomeles speciosa Yukigotan is a deciduous shrub which has thorn bearing branches, amongst swathes of glossy, jagged, dark green leaves. In the spring, clusters of little green buds open to form elegant pale green flowers that slowly change to white. Plant Japanese Quince into moist, but well-drained soil in full sun or dappled shade. Chaenomeles plants are very low maintenance; and will only need a light prune after flowering each year.
