The foliage turns stunning shades of red and orange, before falling in autumn and its slow growing habit makes this deciduous shrub ideal for small gardens. Grow this Thompson & Morgan Smoke Bush in a moderately fertile, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Plants are generally unfussy and are a low maintenance choice of shrub for the garden. Your Thompson & Morgan Smoke Bush will require little pruning other than to maintain its shape, and to remove any dead, diseased or damaged growth.
