Our hand made companion sets consist of a poker, tongs, brush & shovel. they sit on a heavy steel display base making them the perfect addition to any log fire or stove. Our spiral design displays the tools neatly. The Avon tools are hand forged from steel by our blacksmiths before a high temperature finish of either pewter or matt black powder coat is applied. The perfect mix of strength & character, using timeless craftsmanship & finishes. The Hinton finials featured in these tools are inspired by classic Georgian design. the Matt black & brass compliment each other, making the tools a living room feature in their own right. The brass collars & finials are not an applied finish or paint, they are solid unlacquered brass which will last for years to come, just as the tools themselves will. The Matt Black finish is applied to a base material of solid steel & then baked in a high temperature oven, resulting in a subtle black patina that emphasises the product's clean silhouette.
