This is a pretty rattan basket with split bamboo handles & a hinged lid. Baskets are so versatile & can be used in many ways. This one can go from holding your sewing materials or garden vegetables to storing a loaf of bread or magazines. The basket is sturdy & in great condition for its age. I place it at around the mid 1960s or 1970s. There are a couple of discolored places, but the basket has no breaks or tattered edges. It measures 12x8x6.5 inches. Thank you for looking.
