Description
This 6 1/2 Dog Wood bowl was hand turned by me in my wood shop in Clemmons North Carolina. It's internal depth is 1 3/4 deep with a 5/16 thick rim. It has been sanded to a buttery smooth & finished serval coats of a food safe oil. Care of your hand turned bowl: -Wash with mild soap & dry immediately -don't use to store food in the refrigerator -if finish starts to dull, make sure to recondition with a food safe oil to keep it protected from moisture. Turned by me in my Clemmons, NC wood shop from wood that was locally sources, all bowls start out roughly formed & then are left to dry, reducing the moisture content, anywhere from 4 months to a year depending on how wet & how large the wood is. Reducing the moisture ensures that when the bowl is finished it will not warp due to the wood drying out. Dog Wood Hand Turned Bowl Food Safe #1006 - 6 1/2 X 1 3/4
