Description
Heucherella is a hybrid of Heuchera and Tiarella and this new variety can be valued for its sumptuous blooms and interesting low growing foliage. This super bloomer will display candy-pink flower spires on slender stems from May to June. The beautiful mound of bright green leaves with burgundy veins make an attractive appearance all season long. Heucherella plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to water-logging. Plant them in moist, fertile, well-drained soil, adding plenty of compost or well-rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade. Apply a mulch of well-rotted manure around the crown of each plant each spring. Lift and divide clumps of Heucherella every 3 years in autumn to maintain vigorous, healthy growth.
