Description
One thing that crocus plants do spectacularly is balance beauty with resilience. It can often be hard to find varieties that are this weather resistant, low maintenance and easy to grow while also having unique foliage and such colourful blooms. Crocus plants are also quite versatile as they complement cottage gardens, woodland gardens as well as alpine and rockery displays. Our own Thompson and Morgan mix goes one above this however by providing you with a collection of some of the more standout crocus varieties mixed together to make an even stronger impact in your garden. Grow crocus in any well drained garden soil in sun or semi shade. Spring flowering crocus bulbs should be planted during the autumn, in large clumps at a depth of 10cm (4") and at a distance of 7cm (3") apart. Alternatively grow them in containers or naturalised in grass.
