Description
This distinctive passion flower variety bears pure white flowers with contrasting purple stigmas, which are followed by inedible, egg-shaped orange fruit. ‘Constance Elliott’ will quickly cover a south or west-facing wall with glossy, deeply-lobed, semi-evergreen leaves. Passion flowers have outrageously exotic looks but are surprisingly vigorous and easy to grow if planted against a warm and sheltered garden wall. This passionflower holds a prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit for its garden performance and is great for a sheltered position such as a sunny patio or courtyard where it will flower long and hard from mid-summer to autumn. Maximum height and spread: 400cm. Plant Passion flower plants into any moist, well-drained soil. Choose a sunny position that is protected from cold winds in winter.
