Rose 'It's A Wonderful Life' blooms with a profusion of apricot/pink flowers (with over 60 petals each!) throughout summer, with new blooms replacing those that fade. These fabulous flowers vary in colour as temperatures fluctuate throughout the growing season. This spectacular floribunda rose has an upright habit, with dark, glossy foliage that holds well on the plant, remaining until late in the season. Rigorous trials, lasting over 2 years, have shown this robust variety to be strong growing and disease free. A worthy addition to patio planters, rose beds and mixed borders where it will form a fantastic focal point each summer. Bare root roses will arrive trimmed back, ready for the new season, they will exhibit little signs of growth on arrival with possibly some buds in view. The bare roots should be planted as soon as possible in the ground as long as the soil is not frozen or waterlogged, if this is the case, do not allow the roots to dry out, place in a large container and cover with damp compost, or wrap the roots in damp cloth. Your bare roots should be planted at the earliest opportunity following delivery. Once planted, they will remain in their dormant state until the spring. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well-drained soil. Dig in plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
