Thompson & Morgan Acer Japanese Jewel Palmatum Taylor 3 Litre Potted Plant X 2
Description
A true sceptical, Japanese Acer ‘Taylor’ is an ‘ever-changing’ new cultivar producing stunning salmon-pink new foliage in spring which matures to green with a cream, white margin by mid-summer. In the autumn season, the leaves change again into a lime green for a final splash of colour before dropping for the winter. This compact and well-branched variety is ideal for patio containers or garden borders and is certainly an attractive choice for a seasonal focal point within your garden. Perfect for Japanese-style gardens and courtyards, ‘Taylor’ is best grown away from the scorch of cold drying winds or blazing hot sunshine. How to grow:Grow Acer palmatum trees in any moist, fertile, well-drained soil in sun or dappled shade. It is quite important to give plants shelter from strong winds which can scorch the leaves. Alternatively grow the Japanese Maple in large containers, using a soil based compost such as John Innes No.3.Water regularly throughout the growing season until acer trees are well established. Protect plants from strong winds. Acers require little pruning other than to maintain their shape. Lightly trim stems, if necessary, from late autumn to midwinter. Please note: This product cannot be delivered outside the United Kingdom.Product specifications:Position: Sun or Semi/Dappled ShadeHeight: Up to 200cm (79in)Spread: Up to 200cm (79in)Supplied as 2 x 3 Litre Potted PlantsImages shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
