Edenrose – French grown this variety is a high yielding hardneck, each bulb contains a large number of easy to peel, rose skinned cloves with a strong flavour.. Germidour – French grown this variety is a soft neck that produces violet streaked skin with white cloves and a mild flavour, easy to store and split for cooking.. Messidrome – French grown this variety is a soft neck that produces white bulbs with excellent flavour for all culinary uses.. Kingsland- French grown this variety is a hard neck that produces white bulbs with pink cloves this variety is known to be Frances finest garlic.Plant garlic in rows in any well drained soil in full sun. It is important that the soil does not become waterlogged so incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve drainage and feed the soil. On particularly heavy soils, grow garlic in raised beds. Carefully split the bulb into individual cloves.
