Description
This yellow horn pepper is popular with commercial growers – it has good flavour and sets fruit early and readily. Grafted Sweet Pepper ‘Cleor’ is a vigorous and compact plant producing long, bright yellow peppers. The delicious fruits grow to about 20cm long and have thick flesh and can be harvested from July to October. Ideal for growing on the patio, kitchen garden, greenhouse and conservatory growing. Height: 90cm. Spread: 45cm.Grafted sweet pepper plants offer increased vigour, yields and resistance to soil borne pest and diseases in every situation but they are particularly useful if you are growing peppers in your greenhouse in the same ground. Our grafted peppers may come with a grafting clip. Leave this in place and allow it to drop off naturally as the plant grows.Peppers may be grown undercover in a greenhouse or polytunnel or grown outdoors in a sheltered position in full sun. Pot up young plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When plants are well grown transplant them into grow bags and containers, or plant them in well prepared beds of fertile, well-drained soil. When growing sweet peppers outdoors, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days prior to transplanting them. Space pepper plants at a distance of 50cm (20") apart.Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size.
