While this collection does look great in beds and borders, they’ll also look great in containers too, plant some in your favourite pot or tub to enjoy them from anywhere in the garden. Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn, the plants will grow well in any moist, well-drained soil, except for particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. When planting tulip bulbs avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring.
