Evergreen perennial Thompson & Morgan Bergenia Cordifolia is an old-fashioned garden favourite. Large, glossy leaves with wavy edges for neat clumps of foliage that are often tinged with purple in winter. Bell-shaped flowers that vary from pale pink to dark rose are borne from early spring. Commonly known as Elephants Ears, this hardy perennial is undemanding, and thrives in most garden conditions with virtually no maintenance needed. Thompson & Morgan Bergenia Cordifolia is ideal for creating dense ground cover, and planting in large clumps at the front of borders. Choose a position in sun or dappled shade when growing Thompson & Morgen Bergenia Elephants Ears and plant in any well-drained soil. Bergenia will happily cope with clay soils very well.
